Do baseball and boating getaways have anything in common? Jay Lloyd reports that they do -? if you?re heading for Baltimore.

One of the hottest boating destinations, if you can wrangle an invitation or if you own a boat, is the Baltimore Inner Harbor.? And baseball is a big part of the cruise.
?You?re in the city and the stadium is so accessible ? you can see it,? says Joanne Distasi of Medford, NJ.
I ran into Joanne and Dan Distasi last week at the Inner Harbor Marina (photo below).? Both our boats had cruised in for a Baltimore getaway, allowing us to watch the Orioles beat the Reds.
The marina is a short walk or cab ride to the classic Camden Yards ball park. Dan says they try to make the run twice a year.
?Even though we?re Phillies fans, it?s great seeing a game here in Baltimore,? he says.
So when the Phillies play here in Baltimore, the engines are revved up and the course is set.
